I have always believed that true efficiency
is born from harmony,
not from complexity.

I was born on November 16, 1982, in Caracas, Venezuela. My father, Manuel Rodrigues, arrived in Venezuela from Portugal at a young age and built a wonderful business known as the Gran Café de Caracas. This place was the meeting hub for many figures, politicians, artists, and entrepreneurs; so from a very young age, I had in my father the example of how valuable relationships are. My mother, of Colombian origin, is a nurse by profession; however, she dedicated herself to being a homemaker. From her, I also learned the importance of family, love, and commitment.

I am the second of four siblings, but the only woman in my family. My childhood took place in Colombia, but at 15 we had to return to Venezuela due to a complicated health situation for my father. During that stage, I had to learn to work and contribute at home, but I always had the unconditional love and support of my family, who taught me the value of teamwork and the power of love.

Life took a drastic turn when my father needed a kidney transplant. And here comes the incredible part: my mother turned out to be the compatible donor. Her successful donation was not only a testimony to the love and sacrifice that exists in my home, but it also taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, discipline, and teamwork.

After overcoming that difficult family situation, I focused on building my own professional path. I completed my studies in Business Administration and began working in the corporate world. Throughout my career, I have achieved notable successes in project management and demonstrated outstanding skills.

But my story is not just about my professional career. I have also been involved in volunteer activities, dedicating my time and effort to charitable organizations and social causes that are important to me. I have always found a balance between my work and personal life, valuing the importance of my family and cultivating strong relationships with my loved ones.

I am Sonia Orquídea Rodrigues Duran, an inspiring woman who has faced personal and family challenges with determination and love. My story is a testimony to resilience, strong family values, and the ability to triumph despite adversity.
